Erin stepped into the medical field over twelve years ago when she became a registered ultrasound technologist. She started her ultrasound career at the top pediatric hospital in Dallas/Fort Worth. Three years later, she began working as an on-call ultrasound technologist, quickly moving up within the company to secure contracts across the country, managing ultrasound teams for free-standing emergency rooms. She has built a solid reputation as a fearless leader and technologist who puts her team and patients first.
Erin brings 25+ years experience to the table - building teams and businesses in corporate America - in both real estate and the restaurant business, before growing a small local company into a national powerhouse. She has served as National Director, Managing Partner, Owner and Advisory Council throughout her career. With a track record as an operational leader and mentor, she has successfully developed and administered health policies aiming for high-quality standards while excelling in emotional, high-pressure environments, demonstrating a keen ability to connect with diverse individuals and establish trusting relationships. Erin has a passion for patient care and being part of the diagnostic process for her patients; but her real love is the growth and success of her team and co-workers around her.
Erin now resides in the New Braunfels area with her husband. Between her and her husband, they have 7 children that are in all stages of life and activities. When not involved with their children, Erin and her husband enjoy traveling, the mountains and exploring places around the country.
Jude Herring has joined Gateway Healthcare Associates as our Vice President of Business Development. Jude brings over twenty years experience in developing teams in various industries. His unique perspective in creating strong relationships with a business-focused vision will lead GHA in brand recognition and growth, linking our corporate values with partners around the country.
Not only will Jude lead GHA in the expansion of business across Texas and the country, but also in new technology innovation as we continue to improve our processes within each facility and sector. The Gateway Healthcare umbrella is open to additional ancillary partners which will propel our company into new and innovative services never before offered in the free-standing / micro-hospital market. Jude has created a bridge between relationships, solid foundational work, and the talent for future acquisitions. He brings a force to the business side of Gateway Healthcare Associates and is also establishing our name within the healthcare industry as an ally in partnership growth and management consulting.
In his free time, Jude continues to build his real estate portfolios and supports his various family ventures. We are thrilled for the expertise and energy he brings to our executive team.
Cristin Smith brings extensive experience in business, marketing, and management to our leadership team as Director of Operations. With her innovative mindset and entrepreneurial spirit, she has revitalized our policies and procedures, streamlining daily operations between the field and our technologists. Cristin has created a command-center operation, enabling our team to fully engage with patients and clinical staff using the latest technologies and resources. She has established herself as a valuable partner in our growth and will continue to lead Gateway Healthcare Associates' development nationwide.
Cristin began her journey with four years in the US Navy, dedicated to patient care. She then earned a Bachelor's in Business with a focus on Management and Marketing. Her entrepreneurial spirit has driven her success in sales and recruitment, earning her numerous awards and accolades. Cristin's mentorship has positively impacted thousands, enriching both individuals and teams.
Beyond her professional commitments, Cristin finds reprieve in Colorado's breathtaking landscapes. She enjoys reading, cooking, connecting with friends, and spending time with her husband and son.
The demand and need for Echo services in the free-standing and Micro hospital setting has increased over the last few years, and in Gateway's commitment to stay afront market needs, we are developing partners and technology across the country to meet this need. Courtney Wallace, as Director of Echo Services, is the perfect fit to build out and manage this niche of ultrasound. She has a proven track record of gold-standard examinations, making a name for herself in her local market. She is a recognized leader, and the perfect partner with our executive team with her expertise and commitment to the growth of Echo services.
Originally from Durango, Colorado, Courtney's educational journey led her to Fort Lewis College. She pursued Biology with a minor in Chemistry. In 2006, she made her way to Albuquerque, NM to enroll in the University's School of Medicine Radiological Science program. Amid the excitement of this new phase, ultrasound emerged as a consistent point of interest.
Jumping forward a decade, Courtney's focus on specialization led her into the realm of cardiac ultrasounds. In 2015, she decided to further her education to refine these skills. Transitioning from radiology to ultrasound was a change that went beyond technology—it introduced her to a new level of personal interaction, spending an average of 30 minutes with each patient, she creates a space for conversations, solace, & moments of rest.
In her spare time, Courtney loves spending time with her soon-to- be-5 year old and his many extracurricular activities. She enjoys being outdoors, hiking, yoga, and spending time with her family.

This is probably the number one question we are asked. There is nothing more frustrating for a provider than wondering and waiting for the technologist to arrive to perform the ultrasound exam that has been ordered. Because we are committed to patient care, our turn-around times average around 30 minutes. Your dedicated team of ultrasound technologists will live within 30 miles of your facility in order to guarantee a timely arrival.
You can depend on Gateway Healthcare Associates to provide transparent and easy-to-read invoices. We will provide a book of services along with a pricing guide based on your contract for reference. We will be available to answer any questions you have, but you will not receive any surprise billing.
Our technologists are up-to-date on all credentialing. Rest assured they have all been thoroughly vetted in order to ensure the highest quality examinations you can depend on. Your facility will be provided a set of onboarding documentation for each technologist for your records. Your dedicated management team will also perform quarterly QA's on all exams as well as establish a relationship with site radiology group. We expect every Gateway Healthcare Associate technologist to perform at the highest level.
